I want more of you

Recently found out about the life that is with Christ. From that day on, I had marvelous experiences with him. But what is really like having a relationship with Jesus?

We all know that he is our savior and redeemer. But he is more than that. He has opened the door for us to be with our father God in heaven. He offered his life for our life. Paid a high price for us to enjoy life not just to get by and go with the flow.

Some of us live in that kind of cycle where we just live and get by with what life has for us. I was like that, before. I did not see my deepest and true purpose. Living a life without a purpose is pathetic, sad and lost. For many many years I was like that, A person without a purpose.

But now that I have Jesus in my life, It became meaningful, with a desire to go forward and shine for him. Best of all, to have a deep purpose.
That is to know and worship him, bring people to him, and  serve him.

I will never ever experience this without accepting him in my life. Surrendering every aspect of my life to him. My career, personal, social, every little detail of my life, I give him full authority over it.
It brought so much joy, contentment and peace in me knowing that he is control.

Know, I want more of him. I want this walk and journey with him to be fruitful. My Christian walk is not that ideal as many thought it would be. But in whatever season and circumstance I'm in right now, I know God is with me. And he will make sure that I will finish the race with victory and triumph.

Being a Christian does not mean you will never encounter problems anymore, you will,oh yes you will, coz the fact is, we are living in a fallen world. But the best part of having Jesus in you is that you will have the courage to face anything because you have the confidence and the assurance that he will never leave you nor forsake you. Remember, He has overcome the world. Whatever it is you are going through, you will be victorious.

Ending this post with a scripture that encouraged me and I believe it will also encourage you.

"Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives it to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid."

John 14;27
